This group is for people interested in mushrooms. we will go out to look and hopefully find these elusive creatures. I would also like to share my knowledge and learn from others. no experience required
Why are you interested in joining the guild? (If you are outside the Knoxville region, why are you interested in joing the guild?)
I am interested in connecting Knoxvillians by exchanging ideas and sharing experiences. I am interested in learning and teaching in whatever capacity I can.
What neighborhood do you live in?
What skills or experiences do you have that can be shared?
education, organizing, gardening, building, food, cooking, curiosity. I have been an environmental educator in some capacity for over six years, including teaching at Beardsley Farm, at Knox County Schools, at a semester school in North Carolina, at Ijam's Nature Center, and in my graduate program for Environmental Education.
I am the farm manager at Beardsley Community Farm, and I love my job. I enjoy long walks, long days at home and in the kitchen, and goofing off at work and at home. Goofing off does not mean slacking off either.
