Building a School Garden at Children's Center of Knoxville

July 25, 2011 from 12pm to 7pm
The United Way has approached Slow Food Knoxville to help build a school garden at the Children's Center of Knoxville. We'll be building several raised beds for the school of 150 youngsters, which is funded in part by the United Way, for them to learn from. They're growing some vegetables in pots right now, but they want a real space.
