Food Systems

This group is dedicated to a stronger sustainable community food system in the Knoxville area in an effort to build and support local food and the local food movement. 

This group is a collaborative effort to build  locally based, self-reliant food economies - one in which sustainable food production and consumption are integrated to enhance the economic, environmental and social health of Knoxville.  It focuses on the education of growing one's food and producing local goods as a preference to purchasing  goods and services from  an industrial system.
