Slow Food Knoxville Pesto Festo

Our 5th Annual Pesto Festo will be at Riverplains Farm in Strawberry Plains on SATURDAY, JUNE 30th. Activities include: live music and dancing, beer tasting, pesto contest and tasting, silent auction, massage, farm tour, and kids activities.

Tickets are $35 for members, $40 for nonmembers, $10 for children 5-12, and free for under 5. This is probably THE BEST PRICED FARM-TO-TABLE DINNER IN THE AREA!!! Our homemade, local cuisine includes dishes like roasted beet and goat cheese salad, zucchini "pasta" with roasted red pepper pesto (a fun "faux" food with zucchini ribbons as the noodles), homemade pesto sausage, tomato basil bisque, pasticcio al forno with pesto and creme fraiche (a crustless egg tart), and more!!!!!!

We'll also have OLD CITY JAVA and CRUZE FARM serving up their specialties.

CHECK ENGINE will be playing some old-timey, danceable music.

MASSAGE on site (for donations), KIDS ACTIVITIES such as farm bingo and face painting!
