Event Description

Permaculture is a comprehensive system for living sustainably on the earth. By understanding the interconnectedness of all things and by modeling patterns of nature we can design systems that allow us to live on the earth without jeopardizing future generations to be able to do the same. We design systems that collect and generate surplus from the natural flux of energies that flow through the landscape: sun, water, wind, minerals, biological life, information, etc. Join us for this introductory workshop and gain the big picture of what permaculture is all about, plus leave with specific strategies you can begin to implement immediately.

The event will take place at the May 10^th 'Science Cafe', 5:30pm at Ijams Nature Center in South Knoxville.

Comment by Chad Hellwinckel on April 27, 2011 at 7:32pm: Hey Ash, the event is on Tuesday the 10th of May, in the notice I sent out I said it was Mother's Day evening...that's wrong...I don't know what I was thinking! I'll start getting the notices out earlier for other events.
