Fermentation Fervor: The Art of Making Bulgarian Yogurt

Join us for Fermentation Fervor, our month-long celebration of fermentation and fermented foods. On Sunday, July 22nd at 3 pm, we'll welcome Neranza Blount to come speak at Three Rivers Market about her mother Liliana Blount. Liliana wrote and self-published The Art of Making Bulgarian Yogurt in 1974. This great booklet patiently guides the reader through the steps of making Bulgarian yogurt without a yogurt maker and includes recipes using Bulgarian yogurt.

Three Rivers Market will have both the books and Bulgarian yogurt starters available for purchase. Neranza will be donating proceeds from her sale of the books to the Young-Williams Animal Shelter.
